Puppy Jail

All she really wants is to give Danielle one big, sloppy puppy kiss before she gets on the bus in the morning. But that requires jumping up on her in her new school clothes, while thumping her tail madly back and forth to show her joy. So one rainy morning this week, I put her in the fenced in yard...she had already taken a dip in the nearest puddle, and her hiney was wet and muddy. Her paws were covered with mud that surely would have ruined the morning.

As the bus pulled away with her buddy clean and dry inside, I walked around the back of the house. And this is what I see:
